Leadership Gahanna
2013-2014 Leadership Gahanna
Leadership Gahanna, a community leadership program offered by the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to developing and enhancing current and future leaders within the Gahanna area. Our 2013-2014 program will run from September 13, 2013, through May 8, 2014.
The mission of Leadership Gahanna is to develop and promote the future leadership for Gahanna by enhancing current business and community leaders while identifying and developing emerging leaders.
Each participant and/or company of Leadership Gahanna must be a member of the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce.
Crafted by the Leadership Gahanna Operations Committee, the program provides an educational forum and mentoring opportunity for participants. Members meet, for the most part, every two weeks on a Thursday evening at various locations. Agenda and speaker biographies are provided for students at the beginning of the year.

- Team Building Retreat
- Community Project
- History of Gahanna Session
- Infrastructure Session
- Criminal Justice /Ethics Session
- Economic Development Session
- Graduation

Tuition to Leadership Gahanna is $700. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to sponsor employees or members by paying their tuition. Partial scholarships are also available. Leadership Gahanna is committed to providing development opportunities to citizens who are committed to community service and leadership regardless of ability to pay. However, scholarship funds are limited and requests will be considered on the basis of
demonstrated need. Applications for program participation are considered without regard to scholarship needs.
The application must be accompanied by a $200 deposit payable to the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce. This will be credited to your tuition and will be refunded only if you are not accepted in the program. The balance is due upon acceptance.
